1. TP, have you even seen the TRD Hilux?

2. And you never learn Hilux's are not tough in any way no matter what you say paul, the hilux is not a real tough truck at all - You Can't Change That!

3. When did I ever say the Hilux is bad? Don't you think thats a little paranormal when you said I say "the Ford is good an TRD bad"?

4. I saw the rear drums on the TRD Hilux, but it's still not in production yet, so anything can change.

5. Why are complaining about me "attcking" Toyota? Remember you attack the F6X and I'm not ranting againts the Hilux. Maybe you need to laughed at?

TP,
i think OZ did confirm it does still have drums.

i also love how you statement of comparing the 2 overrides that of OZ who has actually sat in both

im really interested to hear how the F6X is overpriced yet the TRD Lux isnt.
and the LUX isnt the toughest vehicle in the world. i cant believe you are that silly to make such a statement. you've never even driven one for starters!!!!!!

Oz completely wrong, the Hilux is the worlds toughest vehicle.... I havent stopped saying it for any reason, I provided evidence remember! The F6X does win an award, the most overpriced vehicle in the world!

Oz says the Ford is good an TRD bad suprise suprise... mate you people say at one moment they are different cars dont compare then you try to attack the TRD because the F6X has more seats... you must really be struggling for things to say. As Ive said elsewhere you dont compare these vehicles in terms of market, you compare them in terms of FPVs attempt at a non-conventional performance car vs TRDs attempt. The FPV is a mess, it doesnt look the the part and its very nature, a barge on wheels, suits performance less then the TRD (which itself isnt all that suited given ride height). Answer this as well can you confirm the Hilux has rear drums? (Im genuineley interested, youd think given the pricetag and 'brake upgrades' its discs, and given you say you've seen it you should know)

"Any person who said it looked “tacky” just don’t like FPV, or Territorys for that matter."

Oz thats a blanket statement.

I own a Territory Ghia and until last year I had an FPV GT Falcon in the garage and I can tell you I don't like the car at all. Tacky is a good word for it. Its also overpriced for what you get. Still the car should rust as well as mine and many others Territories.

Watto, I agree and could not of said it better myself.

There was also 2 Cobras there, 1 at the Ford stand, the other at the Shannons auction.

LOL, when I sat in the cobra at the ford stand, you could almost say I felt like I was Bavarian Missile!

You mean "Ford". Because I'm amazed at how many people say "oh boring black interior" on most cars, then bag out a vehicle trying a two-tone seat/interior to differentiate form the norm. Geez, how about setting some standards?

.eg. I like the way HSV differentiates the Clubby/R8 from SS with the taillight cluster (different sheet metal).

.eg. I'm Ford but I like the looks of the TRD Aurion. The exhaust apertures look great, but I'd hate to be cleaning them every time I went for a drive.

Territory's still look good, even after this long, but I wish FPV had used a more aggressive front/rear bar. I mean, how much would that cost, really? Some Territory's see decent dirt, but the F6X likely wouldn't.

I was waiting for someone to ask me that. And when it comes to the 'FPV F6X vs TRD Hilux' TP is going on about, I have to say the F6X has the 3rd row seats, so that means it has 7 seats and the Hilux only has 5. Another thing is the F6X is AWD and the Hilux is 4WD. And last of all the seats are better looking than the TRD. Oh...The FPV don't have drum brakes.

The 2-tone leather interior in these pics are streched out, but I have to say it looks pretty good. It's like the normal Territory seats in leather with "F6X" on the head rest.

Andre ... I've done some beach driving my self. Any 4WD/AWD with a reasonable ground clearance and the right tyres would do the job. Heck, I could get my old Cortina in most spots except where the sand was really soft.

The F6X has got nothing on the TRD Hilux, what a shear disappointment to look at. I'll take the Toyota because it would be far better suited to my recreational lifestyle.
