Hi batman,

Ive hear of the problem with the floating rear end. Nolathane has rear cross member bush inserts to stop excessive play in the rear end. Some customers have complained of motion sickness in the ve commodores, this will fix the problem. Check out the nolathane site it will give you more information. thanks luke

I have an 09R8 317kw, reading your GTS problems, I have similar, with 38or42psi f&r when I am in a large round about at approx 70km under slight acceleration, my rear end, feels as if it is moving up & down & left & right(oscillating. this feels as if I was to go harder it would buck out. any answers!!!

I have a 2007 VE GTS , I get around 25 thousand k's out of tyres as they do track time, the only time it has been unsteady over bumps is when tyres are worn and pressures incorrect. I also have the speed bump top out feeling when MRC is turned off but its fine when turned on . And yes mine does the claimed 0 - 100 in 5 seconds, and runs consistent 13's on the strip with MRC on which saves 2 tenths of a second . The only part they have had to replace is front and rear control arms
( warranted )

Judging by the above comments no, but by the testers remarks yes. I dunno, i've read many review of this car in all its guises VE 307, VE 317, and E2, and not one tester has ever had anything negative to say about the MRC

Hello Chris
i own a ve gts 12th month 2006 build it has 20,ooo klm
distance travelled
noisey rear suspention
jumps sideways went it is driven over slight ripples in the road surface
when rear suspention is compressed there seems to be no dampening effect it has three rebounds before coming to a stop
hsv dealer tells me the noise can be fixed by rapping the springs after they inspected it
funny thing is that the springs have already been rapped
previously as a fix to the noise problem
im even considering removal of the magnetic ride control suspention but ill need to find out how to over ride the cumputer inputs as this will limit the vehicle speed to 120 klms per hour does anyone out there have the answer to this override
thanks Anthony

Regarding previous post.
RACQ just Failed the vehicle because of bald inside rears that have done less than 10000kms. Comment was that suspension setup was most likely culprit.

Cheers

Regaring my post Chris Says:
March 20th, 2008 at 2:05 am
I’ve got a VE GTS man done 4k.....

The vibration is now noticeable from 80 kmh to 125+ kmh

....

I am not using a fake name Roudy and I'm an owner who is not slagging, merely recounting fact.
