I think you need to recheck the definition of “subjective” in the dictionary.
It doesn’t look like a Bangle design in any way, but I guess that could be a metaphor for “ugly” design, which again, is subjective.
It’s refreshing to see a more mature design come out of Modena in comparison to the garish 458 Italia.
Subjective indeed. Many folks like myself happen to think the 458 Italia is one of Ferrari’s finest creations.
I’m one of them. The interior craftsmanship is every bit as stunning as the outside.
That’s exactly what I was going to say. But then this Ferrari is for older gents who prefer to go cruising than powersliding on their weekends.
I am very dissapionted in Ferrari not sticking with
the metal gate proper manual transmition!!!
im not a fan of flappy paddle gear boxes in what is meant to be an engaging/involving sports car!
Pity for Ferrari they let Maserati have the Granturismo design. Marry the shape of that with the underpinnings of this car and Kevin may be dreaming away to his heart’s content.
Whys is that this article has been written/published now when the new 4 Seat Ferrari is right around the corner.
Sorry to say but this just sounds like a promotion on behalf of Ferrari.
This article to me sounds like a desperate attempt to finish off the existing stock lying around at the Ferrari dealership.
Oh yeah… that is because they have heaps of stripped out executice spec models of the 612 without air/con or electric windowns and radio/cassette players sitting around unsold in holding yards with $2000 cash back. Try again.
Nothing could be further from the truth old chap.
I have always liked the look of the 612 (it has been around for quite a while). I think it is one of the few Ferarris of recent times that allows you to enjoy Ferraris perfect engineering without it being housed in a “look at me” skin. Not everyone wants to look at themselves in shop windows….
Seriously who the hell would buy a Ferrari if the “DON’T look at me” is that important to them?
The 612 may look tame and not very eye catching in these photos but in real life you’ll stop dead in your tracks if you manage to see one. Good looking or ugly is another issue, but it is an eye catching car nevertheless
well said my friend. i was jus abt to say the same. when a ferrari passes by no matter what it is there is this feeling that u’ve seen something great, a master piece. driving next to one feels great and they all look great in corsa red..
Kevin, you are from Europe, so perhaps that’s why you think the Testarossa is ugly. Nobody here in Australia thinks the same. I think it’s one of the most gorgeous cars of the 80s. The design was way ahead of it’s time when it first came out, and it still looks amazing 27 years later. Perhaps in Europe the design was not as popular, maybe because of it’s size? Remember that you’re writing for an Australian website.
this is panamera ugly
you comment on buyong a used one is interesting. why not create an article on the real costs of owning a super car ie insurance, service costs, city and country fuel economy etc?
2010 ferrari hey? and you drove it right? So why use photos from 2005-2007. they have had a glass roof since June 2008. Please explain.
