Hyundai Genesis crash test video

Korean cars and safety have not always been two concepts that fit well into a single sentence. You only have to look at the Korean-sourced Holden Barina crash test video to see that. To set things straight, Hyundai’s new global car, the Genesis sedan, has recently undergone frontal and side crash tests:
There is virtually no intrusion into the cabin and the Genesis comes out in reasonable shape – a testament to Hyundai’s commitment to safety.

It’s a credit to Hyundai how far they’ve come in recent years, they deserve every accolade they get. The i30 is brilliant for the money and this vid just proves they’re not the buzz box we remember.

That’s a damn fine effort – no material difference between Genesis and Camry.
This means that the Japanese car is no better than the Korean car.
Also, after the crash, both have the same resale value – none…..

I dont think it did that well, have a look at how far the drivers body moves forward due to the smaller size of the airbag compared to the camry. You can tell the camry has a 2 stage airbag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always has to be one to Criticise isn’t there. Can’t Anybody just admire that in only 40 years a Manafacturer has come so far and now produced a car that should be praised for their efforts and admired.
Mark perhaps you should research into the Genesis Airbag systems before you make such claims.
Genesis got 5-star safety rating and
Camry got 4-star safety rating.
Mark, Camry’s so called “2 stage airbag” is not good as Genesis’.
