2008 BMW M3 Convertible video

January 23, 2008 by Alborz Fallah

Last week’s BMW released official info on the 2008 BMW M3 Convertible and we thought that was the end of it. It was another stunning car in the M-lineup. A few days ago, official video footage of the car has surfaced.

Sporting a monstrous 309kW 4.0-litre V8 engine which happily revs to north of 8000rpm, buyers will have the choice of either a six-speed manual or the new seven-speed M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic.

Best of all though, the new M double clutch transmission out-accelerates its manual alternative in the sprint to 100km/h – done away with in just 5.1 seconds.
