Underground Racing creates twin-turbo Ferrari 458 Italia

Underground Racing is well known for its performance upgrades for the Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, most notably additional turbochargers. Now it has turned its hand to the Ferrari 458 Italia.

The workmanship speaks for itself, however when dealing with all-wheel-drive Lambos, there's a bit more rubber for the power to be dispersed through. With the Fezza, it's rear-wheel-drive only, which may make it a bit of a handful.

Says Underground Racing's Kevin Howeth, "Even though we were extremely impressed with the handling and all the other cool features of the 458, we knew there was something missing."

"So it was then time for the Underground Racing team to design a 458 Twin Turbo system. As the pictures show, this is what we came up with."

"We will have a Twin Turbo system with a stock engine as Stage 1. The built engine with Twin Turbo system will be stage 2."

No official power figures or acceleration times have been given as yet but the Underground Racing website will be updated with specs and videos soon. In the meantime, click on each pic to indulge in what should be every grown man's fantasy.
