The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is the most powerful production Porsche 911 ever, but how much better than a normal Porsche 911 Carrera S could it possibly be? Autocar has that answer covered in one of the British publication’s latest comparison tests.
It’s easy to point to the GT2 RS and say it’s the better car. It is worth a lot more than the standard 911 Carrera S, but if you’re simply after a quick car to scoot around in and tour the odd mountain pass, then perhaps the normal 911 will suffice.
In the video, the GT2 RS does the 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds while the Carrera S doesn’t achieve it for a entire second later, doing it in 4.7 seconds. Autocar conducts various comparisons in the video including a simple drag race. The race pretty much splits the difference between the two perfectly.
