2011 Aston Martin Le Mans race car naming competition

The famous British marque is yet to release official images of the new LMP1 race car, but if the sketch is anything to go by, it is likely to be another stunning design.

Aston Martin says the new vehicle will challenge for outright victory in the 2011 Le Mans 24-hour race and it needs “an emotive name that truly captures the personality” of the vehicle.

Along with the buzz of naming a race car, the winner will receive a range of Aston Martin and Aston Martin Racing merchandise. Unfortunately, there are no keys in the prize bag.

The competition is open to everyone but all entries must include a reason for the name. The entry form can be accessed here, and the competition runs until January 3, 2011.
