It would be good if CA differentiated between published press releases and original content though. I’ve also suggested to Alborz in the past that every post/article should have the Author’s name at the top.

Your previous comment must have contained a link, as these don’t get published (spam/virus fears, etc).

The original article you speak of, was actually sent to us in the form of a press release from Citroen. We are free to use this information in any way that we feel. You’ll notice this by the fact that we have a high resolution copy of the photo, and not a web version.

We therefore have not breached any copyright laws, and do not have to credit the Australian website in any way, shape, or form.

It’s just like any other press release from a manufacturer, in which we publish information, day in, day out.

So, you not only breach copyright laws by not citing reference to the original article on the Citroen Australia site, but then you impose censorship by not publishing my previous comment.

How can my constructive comments not be published, yet the racist rants of people like “Frugal-One” hang around for days before someone requests that they be removed??

CarAdvice really does need to become more professional if you want to be taken seriously.
