The new rear-wheel-drive Hyundai Genesis was finally revealed today and we have to say, it looks spectacular.

There has been a lot of conflicting reports regarding this car, we know for sure there will be V6 variants, we also reported there will be a turbo variant and now it seems the hyped Tao V8 engine will be offered as well.

Hyundai Australia previously told CarAdvice not to expect the car (if at all) before 2009 calendar year. If this concept is anything to go buy, coupled by the fact that it will be rear-wheel-drive, the Genesis Coupe should prove a spectacular hit for the Korean brand.

Very very nice. A bit excessive on carbon fibre and I don’t really like the nostrils on the front bumper but it looks good nonetheless. Considering how production versions usually looks more subtle, I guess we won’t see C/F.

  2. Stumpy says:

This is the hero car that Hyundai need, I love the shape but the nose is over the top.

  3. Matt says:

Not too sure about the rear side window, but otherwise, I like it!
