Kia Borrego – 2008 Detroit Auto Show
The all new Kia Borrego is the largest SUV yet produced by the Korean manufacturer, dwarfing both the Sportage and Sorento.
The Borrego is available with either a 3.8-litre V6 or a 4.6-litre V8 engine, marking the first V8 engine for the Korean company. The car is destined primarily for the American market: an Australian release is not confirmed.
Kia also plans to add a diesel engine to the Borrego range in the future. Some of the highlights of the car include a DVD navigation system, an accident avoidance system, and driver knee airbags

Boooooooooooooooooring
The front is a rip-off of the revised Subaru Tribeca. More derivative Korean creations.
Phil, this is a first car designed by Peter Schreyer, new Kia Design Director, formerly at VW. I personally don’t think it looks anything like Tribeca though.
Forgot to mention, Peter Schreyer desinged Original TT :)
A UNREAL CAR….Congratulations
Another big boring SUV destined for the US. Just another korean auto company following the tried and true method the japanese did when they started to get serious with the US market. Build the same things their buying now, with the same boring slab sided styling and make it cheaper with a longer warranty, then sell half a million before daring to do anything original.
wake me up when they’ve made something worth looking at.
