Ford Explorer America Concept – 2008 Detroit Auto Show
The Ford Explorer America concept is set to go into full scale production as the next generation Ford Explorer, which has long been the best-selling car in its class (in the US). The production model is set to arrive in 2010 as 2011 model.
Ford Australia stopped selling the Explorer in 2005 due to declining sales after it released the Australian-developed Territory.

YEP…amuse yourself at Ford website in USA as Iam a sort of Falcon come Ford supporter and models are crap, ugly pieces of junk. Ford would have to pay me to take any one of there cars to own it? Yuk is understatement – VOMIT is more apt word!

I am a Ford fan but I have to admit, the ‘Exploders’ that came here were S**T! If all American Fords are like that, NO WONDER THEIR SALES ARE DOWN!

Remmember this is only concept and some of you are a bit harsh, production design should be totally different and I’m sure the fuel consumption will be improved…..

the wheels look plastic though, like a toy truck ha ha ha
And supposedly powered by a 250kw “Ecoboost” DPI turbo 4 cyl insted of the usual big sixes and eights.
Images elswhere on the web (sorry CA, but then, your overarching coverage is still the best) do this much more justice.
There’s a lot of smart in the engineering and a lot of dumb in the styling.
It’s the front facia that is just pug ugly.

If all Fords over there are like that, no wonder their sales are down.
you all are haters i like it alot and i like the inside alot the seats looks really futeristic ill be a buyer.
wow, i love it and i also love the design because there is nothing else like that today it is the design of the future. i am gonna buy it, go ford, keep surprising.
