Just been checking out the Subaru Legacy/Outback availbility here. It quoted at 150 PS (german horsepower!!! Q. Why are German Horse power rated higher than UK Hp i.e. 1PS = 0.9863201652997627Hp) or about 114KW and 348Nm, 0-100 in 8.6secs and super smooth and quiet. Apparently the 'official moving noise level' is 70.5dB, whereas the Passat is 73dB, Rolls Royce Phantom 72dB. Impressive Stuff. On the road here (UK) for about $47K.
