err, no it doesn’t. Pricing hasn’t been released – its the pricing of the Evo thats on par with the STi.

Looks awesome… I dont know what the author here meant by ‘less spectacular than we might have hoped forE’… its practically an Evo with some extra chrome.

As for auto being expensive option, Edmunds website says it will ONLY come with the SST transmission, given this I think it will be more expensive then the WRX. If I had to guess, base form I recon mid $40s given its a dual clutch and they have added ALOT from the VRX, then optioned up (perhaps they will offer GPS for example, not offered currently on VRX for this very purpose… to offer more value in the Ralliart) I recon low $50s. I wander if it can tow… Id be tempted to get one, seems like dam good bang for your buck, especially given the tuning opportunities for that engine!

IMO, it’s a very ugly car. Performance should be quite good though. Just cant get over the looks!

I noticed that the shape of the Ralliart “nose” resemble that from the Evo X (possibly to reveal the intercooler behind the mesh). But somehow I reckon the chrome treatment surrounding the nose is a bit ‘out of place”…
(as a comparison, neither the EVO X nor the VRX model have a chrome surrounding…and they both look great!!!)
and the front spoiler could be a little bit ‘thicker’ (which give the car a bit more ‘lowering’ effect)…

The above is purely my opinion…but would love to hear any other comments / feedback relating to the above….

If priced right; this will be fantastic – it has enough power, AWD, and recaros.

I can’t wait until the hatchback version is revealed! It’s a shame that AUS spec Lancers don’t get the options of sat nav/HDD audio; now that would be a nice option if it appeared on the Ralliart over here.

what will i need to upgrade the ralliart to EVO level. Evo has only 206kw and similar torque. will it be as simple as changing the turbo or increasing the induction pressure or minor ECU changes???

Lcat, not sure, not much info available yet, we assume it is a smaller turbo, it would be madness to simply have a different ECU mapping with the same setup as it would take tuners about 4 hours to get it to Evo spec.

I think it will be like the old WRX STi engine to the standard WRX engine, same build, smaller intercooler and turbo, and minor internal differences (better pistons etc)

Like the look of it but why can’t Mitsu give the Lancer range a 1 piece dash? Those joins in the dash are hideous and will lead to squeaks as the car gets older.

Hmm whats with the colour? That has got to be the ugliest colour yet, better colour would have been ideal for photos.

177kW is good so is the 340Nm of torque

Damn, thats nice, hopefully the SST gearbox isn’t like a 4g option, would be great as the same price as an auto, for like an extra 2g.
