Hello in your story you wrote that the rear diff are standard on the diesel LWB pajeros. As l am about to buy one the dealer said to me that they are not standard your information is wrong. Could you let me know if they are lying, and where did you find that the rear diff locks are standard on the diesel models. Thanks Emanuel

I was personally so excited to see the 07 Pajero to come out because this, along with the Nissan Patrol are my two favorite SUVs. I own a Generation 1, 1987 Mitsubishi Pajero and I have to say, I love having it until now. It works and runs just fine. At first it was a little slow; but after putting a turbo, it runs well with the best of them. For the 07 Pajero, definitely a very good "face lift" and performance-wise, I have to admit, Mitsubishi have come a long way. I can't wait to get my hands on this vehicle, if I could afford it. But if I could, this would definitely be the car I'd be getting. More power!
(And to the author, very well written.)

HAVING OWNED A NL PETROL GLX, A NP DIESEL GLX AND NOW OWNING A NS VRX DIESEL,ALL OF WHICH HAVE OR WILL BE USED FOR CARAVAN TOWING [ATM 2300 KGS], OFF ROAD TRAVEL, EG THE CAPE, VIC HIGH CTY, THE KIMBERLEY AND THE BEADELL TRACKS OF CENTRAL AUST, INITIAL IMPRESSION OF THE NEW NS VRX DIESEL AUTO IS MOST FAVOURABLE. 18' WHEELS ARE A LET DOWN WHEN ATR TYRES ARE ESSENTIAL FOR OUTBACK TRAVEL. OVERALL, THE NS IS BETTER TO DRIVE THAN THE NP, ALTHOUGH THE NP WAS NO SLOUCH 0N THE TELEGRAPH, BIRDSVILLE, STREZLECKI OR WALKER'S XING TRACKS. ON EACH PURCHASE OCCASION, THE PRADO, PATROL AND LANDCRUISER 100 HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED BUT NOT CHOSEN ON VALUE FOR MONEY AND RELIABILITY WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SERVICED. THE NEW INSTRUMENT PANEL IS A VAST IMPROVEMENT ON THE PREVIOUS VEHICLES. MITSUBISHI WARRANTY IS ANOTHER IMPORTANT FACTOR TO CONSIDER WHEN IT IS KNOWN THAT SAME IS HONOURED AND NOT QUIBBLED OVER, LIKE SOME OTHER MANUFACTURES. FINALLY, EXPERIENCE HAS PROVEN THE MATT SYSTEM TO BE AS GOOD AS IT IS CLAIMED TO BE, ESPECIALLY WHEN ASCENDING OUT OF CREEK BANKS OR OVER SAND DUNES.
