Fiat 500 Abarth police car
As far as cool police cars around the globe go, our own Holden Commodore SS and Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo are pretty cool. They look flash, have large, attractive alloy wheels, desirable and very powerful engines and offer plenty of modern comfort and technology. Another country that has cool police cars is Italy. Their latest offering? A Fiat 500 Abarth police car... sort of.
It was produced by German suspension company Bilstein and was created simply for a show, so it's not really a police car but it still counts in our minds. It features all the usual sporty enhancements as the 500 Abarth edition, but Bilstein has also added some more serious suspension components with adjustable settings. It also features an Italian police-themed colour scheme with 'POLIZIA' decals.
The car will go on show at the Essen Motor Show in Germany, commencing on November 27. The show is home to Europe's largest tuning specialists and manufacturers, and is regarded as the world's biggest car tuning fair.
