With the Rolls Royce Ghost ‘standard’ edition already out worldwide, the company is working on a stretched version currently called Ghost LWB.
You would think that if you wanted a longer Ghost, you’d just buy the Rolls Royce Phantom but given the times and emphasis on CO2 emissions, a longer Ghost might make sense.
From these photos we can estimate that the Ghost LWB is a good 20cm longer than the standard car (which borrows about 20 percent of its parts from the BMW 7 Series platform).
Will the existence of a longer Ghost hurt Phantom sales? Only time will tell.
Rolls Royce Ghost LWB should hit the market by the middle of next year and be followed by Ghost Coupe and Convertible variants.
