2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class CGI

January 7, 2008 by Alborz Fallah

With details and spyshots of the next generation Mercedes Benz E-Class already out and about, the hard question still remains, what will it look like. Our graphic artist has put all the current spyshots into photoshop and come out with this:

We think the computer generated headlights are a big improvement over the current model’s twin bug-eye style and it is likely that Mercedes’ E-class team has been inspired by the current S-Class.

As far as technology goes, lane-departure warnings, an eye-movement monitor, traffic-sign identification (designed for Europe only), road-condition sensors and stability control that accounts for crosswinds, camber changes, and tyre wear are all set to be available.

Powerplants are expected to remain relatively the same with the usual V6 and V8 engines and a range of diesels. Of course the new E63 will retain its enormous 6.3-litre V8.

I reckon the grille is a bit wrong. Every other new Merc lately has had that chunky oversized grille smacked on the front, this one will be no different.

What is with those Lexus-esque inner lights? Did the photochopper put them in there to fill an empty space?

The grille and main headlights will be slightly wider removing those extra Lexus lights.

  2. Duck says:

Mercedes-Benz is heading in a diiferent design on the E-Class which isnt bad. Looks similar to S-Class ( borrowed design from S-Class. But the new lights will remind people of Lexus

  3. Alien says:

not a fan, don’t like the lines and rather fussy front end. The angles on those lines almost remind me of one the new rodeos hah :D

  4. realcars says:

Merc imitating Lexus. It suppose to be the other way around you idiots!
Mine Got you invented the car!

Toyota is sure to be the solent green of the automotive industry for the prols and the well heeled alike.

  5. No Name says:

I reckon Merc is running scared of Lexus’s success of the luxury market hence the cloning. Pity really as all cars are beginning to look remarkably similar. Yep its a Mercedes LS600 Rodeo

  6. Bavarian Missile says:

hahahaha……..sure they are! Concerned at Audi like BMW but not Lexus! Lexus have been coping Mercs designs for years !

  7. Duck says:

    There just sharing designs…..thats all!

  8. Faizan says:

    I’m confused,its E or C-Class

  9. Waqar says:

    Dear All,
We want total Shape change, its just as PHOTO COPY of S CLASS.

    Regards

  10. Mark says:

funny that Lexus (really just another Toyota) have been trying to copy Mercedes Benz for the last 30 odd years. Your comments are just sour grapes as Merc has managed to get the styling right yet again!!!

  11. proti says:

hay dudes eny1 wana chekout my hott babe she got gr8 tittz n gives awesum bj

  12. the Prof says:

Looks like the current E-class to me. Only difference is in the headlights and that line that cuts diagnally on the sides. Not as beautiful as the S or The C though.

  13. Are you sure that your graphic artist isn’t secretly a designer for Mercedes-Benz? That’s a great looking design.
