I have worked in aftersales in both Merc & Hyundai dealerships & have a thorough knowledge of both vans the iLoad in my eyes is the winner for value for money, warranty, service & parts pricing, reliability & functionality. The best CRDI engine maker in the world. Hyundai have caught the van market in Australia with its pants down.
Merc Vito is a great product but comparing apples to apples most vito owners resell before an iload runs out of warranty. Ever compared labour costs & parts pricing of a Merc dealer to a Hyundai dealer? Do the math.

info please....can someone who owns an iMax tell me if the rear seats are easily removed and reinstalled and / or fold down. Not ready to discuss with dealer yet. Any assistance appreciated. Prefer iMax over iLoad, as I need it to be a passenger vehicle as well as ability to move items, hence need to remove and or fold down seats. I am hearing different stories. Any info appreciated...thanks.

I've owned my iload for one year now and still absolutely love it. i have always had vito's and as far as i am concerned the iload is such better van for $20k less.

To lol i had a choice of changing our car but if you saw what happened to mine in our car accident you would be shocked. The imax i feel comfortable and safe in and Hyundai have been so great to me with so much assistance.
One happy mum.

Havent been on this site for some time. We did get a 9 seater i max as they took the front seat out of the i load. We had to get a reverse camera as you cant see behind. It is so roomy and the kids don't argue with the seating as they did before. Sadly our car was in an accident and has been written off but we are getting another any day now.
In the current models that we will get has a rear wiper which it was hard to see when it was raining.
Can't wait till i get our new i max very happy.

lol. many hyundai haters are working in this site.
but, i can't believe their claim.
Certainly, Hyundai is better quality than any GM, Holden vehicle.

i bought an i load april last year not a great lot of room in the back drives great though. Servicing is quite expensive average 500 - 600 just did 60k service 650.00 + brakes need to be done genuine only 800 for pads and 300 for machine plus fitting had basic service done trading it in asap on different van. 100k service was told would be arround 2000 for timing and water pump. Was told when bought van it was cheap to service arround 300 - 380. ??????

After taking a ILOAD for a test trive, I traded in my vito 112 and got a new Iload rather than a new vito 115. Apart from saving over $20.000. I also get a 5 year warranty. Ive been a vito fan for years, had 3 of them including the new 120 v6. And honestly the Iload is a better vehicle than the 115 vito and not far behind the $65 grand v6 120 vito. Its so smooth and powerfull not to mention the service costs are a quarter of what mercedes charge..
Each to there own I guess, but I love the Iload, and If you compair the fnish between the 2 crew cab modles he Hyundai puts the vto crew cab to shame, as it comes with carpet, hoodliner and door trimming..ect ect
