Whilst looks are always going to be a subjective and contentious issue I think one of the reasons Porsche continue to be such a successful and respected car maker is their engineering integrity.
I know if I had the money there would be one parked in my driveway.

This car “ROCKS” I have seen it in the flesh in Germany at one of my customers
remember the days of the first spy shots from the Cayenne??
After all negative comments, after 5 years it has brought Porsche to the status of “most profitable car producer in the world”
The Panamera will boost Porsche status as never been seen before.
I have started driving a Porsche 911 3 SC back in the seventies and I am still driving (mostly classic) Porsche’s today
Ever tried a cayenne Turbo S ???? It will take your breath away !!!!!!!!!!
I am sure in that in 10 years I will buy my last second hand Porsche, and it will be a…….Panamera

Guys, come on. ITS A FREKIN PORSCHE!

I’m not saying the little bug doesn’t look good, but it doesn’t look bad either. It’s Porsche’s first REAL attempt to make a 4-door.

On that note, this isn’t what it actually looks like. It’s masked and everything, so you get the basic feel without getting a look at the good bits.

So hold off on the negative comments until you nay-sayers can go to your dealers (Porsche’s website will also do) and get a good look at its things and bits to see what she really looks like underneath all those nasty cloths.

Don’t hate quite yet, this one’s still coming out of the wash.

u ignorant, if course it look ugly, since they will not reveal the real shape, they are not stupid, come on look at the front it is masked, those aren’t the finished parts, all car maker do that to hide their cars

It seems like some of you need to pull your head out of your as&$? and step back to really appreciate the beauty of this design. Porsche has never put their name on crap before and they aren’t know. Porsche has not built their reputation on building the same car as long as they have been around. Porsche is what it is because of the quality product they produce. I for one will be at my dealer to purchase this car as soon as it becomes available.

porsches are there to look good most do, i don’t even my the cayenne

but this, some one shoot the designer quick before he produces anything more horrible

Part of porsches continued success is because they haven’t changed much

You think Porsches look like shit so I guess you think the 1966 DeSoto is a thing of Beauty?

The current 911 looks so similar to the 911 from the 80s which looks the same as the one from the 60s – it’s a shape that is so unmistakably Porsche

Whereas Ford for example had the AU Disaster because they made so many changes that it didn’t look like a Falcon

Then there’s the [Porsche] Boxer engine.. one of the most potent sweet sounding well engineered engines in the world.. so why would they want to change that?

You appear to be so negative about every make.model of car. Are there any cars that you do like?
And can you honestly say that you would say No if you won or someone offered you a Porsche…?

I love Porsche but i wouldnt expect this to take any sales from the Ferrari 612.

It looks like a stretched, heavy, akward version of the Cayman. By the look of the wheelbase it wont be the most agile of beasts (I know its a tourer…) but with over 400kw it will at least be fast..

Just doesnt look like the sort of car people will aspire to own..??
