Michael Schumacher drives a cab – part two

December 19, 2007 by Matt Brogan

Follow up: You may recall last Wednesday we bought you news of Michael Schumacher’s exploits in driving a German cab to the airport. Well it seems the German authorities are not taking the matter lightly – who’d have guessed?

Police from Coburg, Germany are investigating the high speed run and have interviewed taxi driver Tuncer Yilmaz and intend speaking with Schumi himself.

Office Kai Holland saying “That was an offence against the transport laws. We will have a hearing with the taxi driver to resolve the matter”. Why do I envisage Sgt Schultz?

To make the situation even more amusing, the cab has sparked a purchase interest among local Schumi fans with no less than ten offers being made to purchase the famous nine seater. One offer is said to be 63,000 Euros ($105,375 AUD).

A fine or lic. suspension would mean nothing to him [has $$$ will get a driver]

Poor old taxi driver is the one who will come out of this the worst & may have to testify against Schumie.
Also, looks like Lewis has been trying to impersonate Michael
in France – caught doing 123mph in an 85 zone in his Merc & has lost his license to drive in France for a month.

Lucky it wasn’t in NSW, Morris would have the Cab Crushed and the cube dropped off on Shumi’s front yard, perhaps it was him who tipped the Germans off…….

^ I don’t think any one is “hating” Michael, Gail.

I think it’s found a little amusing more than anything.

He did the wrong thing, simple. It’s not like there was a dying person or woman in labor being rushed to Hospital, he was running late for a flight, he fault.

maybe the germans were angry he drove for ferrari.

i dont think they will charge him anyway. maybe just do it as a warning for other drivers only.
