I think it looks like the echo but by the looks of those lights in the bigger photos they arnt the ones goiing in it. you can the see the outline for the tailights around the ones on it. i personally like the original.

I luv me 2001 Ka

And Oz sucks for not selling Ford Ka’s here, to many blokes obsessed in filling in the void of the lack of size of there…….um, with large fuel thirsty square cars.
But this just looks like the Echo which was a rip off of the Ka, Go weird, take a risk, this is how the original Ka succeeded and now it is something of a cult Ka.
We are in the year 2008, we should be flying by now but we are still making the same ol same ol designs, designers have no bollocks.

It would not be safe and practical to put a in line ford six in to the ka ,because the power goes through the front wheels not the rear like the falcon. (Toyota made that mistake with the TRD Aurion Car.

FWD 4L Ka with a hairdryer, you’d be buying tyres every week, haha.

I’m sure he meant 4cyl because he mentioned the XR4Turbo name.

Hey FordFutureDriven guy just because the typhoon is great in your mind doesnt mean that all fords will be good! For example Holden has great cars like the Commodore,Clubsport & GTS etc. But not some of them like the new barina and the viva (they are not that good!)

Correct the previous generation didn’t sell all that well here but remember this is a totally new car, hence new styling.
If it ever did come back to AUS it would be more popular, but pricing excludes it from being competitive.
