Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain Edition to appear at Paris Motor Show

Lamborghini and Swiss watch maker, Blancpain, have put their heads together to come up with this special edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain, which was unveiled at a recent Super Trofeo Lamborghini one-make racing series event, held at the Vallelunga racing circuit near Rome.

Although it has already been 'unveiled' in Italy, the two companies want to present the new Lamborghini Gallardo Blancpain Edition to a more wider audience, so the companies have announced the car will make its way to the Paris Motor Show later this week.

The special edition features various bits and pieces bespoke to the Blancpain model, probably the most noticeable is the new vented engine cover and the copious amounts of carbon fibre - such as the big rear wing and side mirrors. Light-wight Skorplus wheels and an increasingly popular matte black paint finish top it off.

Not only does the car produce 570 horsepower (425kW), but with the addition of all those light-weight parts the car only weighs 1340kg - Lamborghini's lightest current production car. Reports say the newer, lighter Blancpain Edition will do the 0-100km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds and go onto a top speed beyond 320km/h.

It looks brutally stealth and savage in images, we can only imagine the kind of attention it'll get at the Paris show next week.
