“New Boss 335 GT. King of every mountain.”

Motor Racing Australia, Bathurst Edition magazine, has given readers a peak at the new Boss V8 from FPV, which goes on sale at FPV dealers on Monday 25th October.

Unable to meet the strict Euro IV regulations, the previous 5.4 litre Boss V8 has given way to the new “Coyote” 5.0-litre all alloy V8, which develops 335 kW and 570 Nm of torque between 2200-5500 rpm, impressive stuff, to say the least.

Although this powerplant has been sourced from the Mustang GT, it has been significantly modified by Ford Performance Vehicles at their engine plant in Victoria.

The forced induction is courtesy of a high flow Harrop/Eaton designed supercharger and should provide serious low down grunt.

Finally, an FPV hotrod with quad pipes.

More on the new FPV cars as news comes to hand.
