Aston Martin One-77 spied on the Nurburgring again
Aston Martin is still testing the upcoming million-dollar Aston Martin One-77 it seems. An obvious test car was caught recently being flung around the notoriously torturous Nurburgring circuit, even sporting some minor damage.
The car almost resembles a production version, but upon closer inspection, there's a few features that stand out. The metallic brown paintwork could be a fresh production colour, though.
A tow hook attached in the front grille means this car is being hammered fairly hard.
Aston Martin, as usual, has applied a handcrafted bodywork to the One-77 and to this prototype rather obviously. The front guards still show the remains of rivet work.
The wheels appear to be the production 20 inch type, only painted in black. This means they're wrapped in 335/30 tyres on the rear and 255/35 on the front.
All this testing is getting pretty close to the release date though, which is scheduled for October. Aston Martin must be doing some last-minute ironing.
Speaking of ironing, check out that rear guard. It looks as though it has been through the wash or at least been subjected to some on-track abuse, perhaps from the suspension and wheel bottoming-out; it needs a fresh iron over, literally.
As far as we know the almighty Aston Martin One-77 is still powered by a 520kW, 7.3-litre V12 and just 77 examples will ever exist. Don't bother making an order though, they've all since been sold already.
