2008 Mazda2 Sedan revealed

Following its success, Mazda has released a preview of the Mazda2 sedan in anticipation for its official debut at the 2007 Guangzhou Motor Show in China this week.

It's fleeting resemblance to the new Ford Mondeo is no coincidence, with manufacturing to be carried out by the Changan Ford Mazda joint-venture at a factory in Nanjing.

Production on the sedan for the Chinese market has already begun, although with no official word, it is unclear if Mazda are planning to release the sedan to other markets.
