The Robnell was using Ford 429 Aluminim head HP engines with Motec Computers & 8 throttle body injection. Then in 1999 wnet to 4.6 Quad cam Ford Mustang engines with a completely new revised lighter chassis to complement the new engine. This was the best Robnell ever built and only a a hand full were completed before they closed the doors. At one time there was a new high performance world car being built with a mayor car company but promised funding never never happened and neither did the car. SUCH IS LIFE.

Upgraded to JEs though on Carrillo's .....I thought they where better.

Hey just picked up my new Golden Retriever pup for my birthday tomorrow.....I have called her M or EM as in M for Motor sport. My last retriever was called Shelby! She is sooooooo cute!

I agree BM they should have used a Ford engine.. as I recall JC mentioned that Koenigsegg use a Ford 5L V8

If you want to go completely OTT how about Porsche leMans V10; a Bugatti Veyron Engine or even a Keith Black Engine similar to that in Ben Brays 2500Hp Holden Ute

The Maltese-Cobra doesn't look that bad. However; I still prefer the look of the original. The main reason being Why have they hidden the side exhaust pipes?
I mean the pipes would have to be one of the most distinguishing features of the Cobra as is the ovoid nuge bar and the roll bar [which you can hardly see on the newby]

By covering up the pipes it just looks like an other Kit Car.

No I'd go for the original or at least a Robnell Replica as Im sure they'd use a Ford engine.. [That V10 looks nice]

I'm not sure if Sports Car International mag is still around, that issue was from 1990.

...OOPS, so that's the engine, a Ford 427 V10. I thought you wanted that same big old NASCAR "side-oil" 427 V8 that's used in the old Cobra in the future HO, that can't be right! HAHA LOL!
