2010 Skoda Octavia 90TSI now on sale
Skoda has just released the new Skoda Octavia 90TSI. The 90TSI is the new entry-level model featuring a 90kW, 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine and an optional seven-speed DSG gearbox.
The new Octavia 90TSI engine replaces the old 1.6-litre petrol engine. It's more fuel efficient and offers more torque than the previous engine, too. The car also comes with a range of electronic safety aids such as, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution as well as electronic stability control.
Inside, the car gets a new eight-speaker, MP3-compatible stereo system and semi-automatic climate control air conditioning. The car also gets 15 inch 'Pyxis' alloy wheels as standard. Price? Well, it's all available from $24,990, putting it straight up against a mid-range Holden Cruze.
