BMW 5 Series M Sport Package available in Australia

By Tim Beissmann |

BMW Australia has announced the availability of the M Sport Package for the new BMW 5 Series range.

Available across all Sedan and Touring models, the M Sport Package is set to arrive in local showrooms in November.

Developed by BMW M GmbH, the package adds sports suspension, a revised aerodynamics package and lightweight 18in double-spoke alloys. Optional M Sport Package extras include 19in alloys (standard on the M Sport Package-equipped BMW 550i) and a rear spoiler.

The M treatment continues inside with a new leather steering wheel, anthracite headliner, M-badged door sill finishers, hexagonal aluminium trim (high-gloss dark brown wood grain standard on the 550i), and sports leather seats (comfort seats standard on 550i, optional on all other models).

Customers of 535i, 535d and 550i models can upgrade the suspension with the optional Adaptive Drive, which adds Dynamic Damper Control and Dynamic Drive for a more individual suspension setup. M Sport suspension can be optioned out of all models.

The M Sport Package is available to order now in the BMW 5 Series range for the following prices:

  • BMW 520d – $7900
  • BMW 528i – $6100
  • BMW 535i – $4900
  • BMW 535d – $4900
  • BMW 550i – $4900

Note: Prices are manufacturer’s recommended list prices and include GST and LCT but exclude stamp duty and dealer, statutory and on-road charges.
