2011 Arash AF10 supercar

Not something that you'd want dermatologically, Arash is a small British supercar company that is about to release the Arash AF10. It's a project five years in the making and, by the looks of it, it'll have been worth the wait.

It's is a 7.0-litre, V8-powered carbon fibre road sled made entirely for speed. You don't need to take a second look to realise it's something special.

Arash Farboud, the company founder, was inspired by the Ferrari Enzo when he designed the AF10; with the twin circle tail lights and bridging rear spolier - and like the Enzo, the AF10 looks absolutely stunning. And it's all made up of carbon fibre and light-weight aluminium honeycomb, too.

Power comes from a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 7.0-litre V8 engine, which can be had outputting various levels of power. The base model spins out 410kW while the range-topping $2M-plus model gets by alright with 895kW.

Check out the front spoiler. It mimics the same bridge design as the rear spolier, and is made from carbon fibre.

Base model is expected to cost around $560,000 when it goes on sale next year.
