I would pick that Hyundai any day over the Mustang, too many people drive the Mustangs, never been a follower. That car looks hot! Remember, Hyundai is a very big heavy-duty manufacture company in South Korea. They can make anything they they want. I wont be surprised if they end up making cars better then Toyota/Lexus or Nissan/Infinity.

Looks quite good,,I still think the current tiburon looks
good too.. and i agree with Matt,good on hyundai for
sticking with an afordable coupe since everyone else seems
to have desserted that market! Only thing that would stop
me buying one is the hyundai badge..

Is Hyundai trying to muscle in on 350Z territory? if so it looks to derivative of Tiburon front wheel drive to make the break but good effort.

Kay,It does look “odd”, especially that rear quarter window.I dont really see the Lexus similarity and I doubt Hyundai wants that, preferring to be more Euro. As for Lexus their most recent models including the ones yet to be released here are definately aimed at and designed for the US market,without that market they may as well close up shop.Toyota/Lexus seems’s to be moving away from their usual Mercedes/BMW rip-off design’s,look at that photo of the ugly blue IS circulating. Good effort though.That’s MY opnion.

It’s good to see a coupe from someone available for sale in Oz. No more Celica, no more CV8, no more Integra, no more Prelude, etc. The styling though just doesn’t do it for me. It’s almost there, but not aggressive enough.

This looks to be a good thing from Hyundai. Too bad I am not in the market for a two door!
