It is utterly disgusting that anyone would steal such a priceless car, I am convinced the owner is heartbroken by such a callous act of such callous and disgusting animals who have no concern for other’s feelings and property! The Owner should post the car on the internet in North America.
A strange thing happened to a friend of my parents. My mother was a artist and wood carver and she carved a beautiful bush scenery with a grizzly bear onto the stock of a custom left hand long barrelled gun for a Hunting Guide. Then one day somebody stole the gun from the Hunting Guide’s truck. It was gone for over 12 years. Then one day some creep committed a crime and all of his guns were confiscated including this left hand custom rifle. It made national news in Canada from east to west. And no one new who the gun belonged to. A retired Game Warden remembered vaguely of Hunting Guide in British Columbia who used a left handed custom rifle and called the Police in eastern Canada and the gun was returned, the owner was pictured on the front page of the newspaper holding his prized high powered left handed custom rifle with the beautiful carvings. The moral of this story….hopefully somebody will see this beautiful car and call INTERPOL and see to it that the RIGHTFUL OWNER gets his prized car back. Donna

i feel sorry for you the best Australian muscle car ever made you must be devastated people who take other people cars have no respect and are nothing but scum thay will be judged for what thay do life has a way of getting all of them in the end

I think from memory a workshop must have the keys on the premises for insurance reasons,really must be in the ignition
in case of a fire ! Dumb I know but needed if the place goes up in flames.

Easy to move cars in a workshop after hours. I went in years ago after hours to pick up a car we had bought. It was getting detailed in the workshop, where all sorts of desireable cars were sitting around. Went into the dealers office to sign a few last papers before taking our new baby home, and there on a board behind his desk leaning against the wall was all the car keys for every vehicle on site, neatly labelled on pegs…
As long as a thief could get into the place, and knew what they were after, the keys would be there somewhere for the taking, and no car alarm would be set off if you use the cars own keys to unlock and start it…

Devastating to see such an irreplaceable muscle car disappear. The car is useless to the thieves, but so valuable to the Australian Ford community.

Bastards. I’m sure they will get theirs in the end.

The more I think about this, the more it seems like an inside job. It isn’t exactly easy to get into two Rolls Royces and a Holden GTS Monaro (presumably all with alarms of some sort) to move them. I’m sure if you have a $600,000 car you would have security in the garage too…

best way for getting any value is to ship it to other countries. locally it would be worthless or at least no where near 600k price.

question is that they could move the RR’s without tripping anything off. also makes u wonder how safe is your car when its overnight at the workshop.

Sorry if anyone thinks this is off topic.
But this HO was not $1mil like that one on ACA. So I hope owners of standard XY GTs don’t cart them around in bank trucks with the army around it just to take it to one place to another because they think it’s almost $1mil dollars.

The only explanation I could think of is someone has ordered this vehicle on the black market… so the robbers get the cash and the purchaser keeps it for their own personal use.

We get suspicious because a car like this has no value on the black market due to the strictly monitored situation with the old GTs. They should have taken the Rolls or the Monaro and sold them on for a lot less hassle.
