Honda CRV 2007 Official Photos
August 28, 2006 by Alborz Fallah
I recently posted a brief and short article with spy shots of the new 2007 Honda CRV. Apparently Honda aren’t too happy with all these images floating around the internet as they had requested an image embargo till the 1st of September. But you know what? Honda needs to realise that the Internet doesn’t have embargos. Thats the whole bloody point!

Anyway, I managed to get my hands on some new photos of the CRV thanks to Autoweek. Have a look. Tell me what you think? I am not a fan of the CRV to begin with, but the new one looks okay, wonder how it drives?
Reports from around the globe suggest that Options for the new CRV include a satellite navigation system and 270-watt stereo while the engine is still the same old Honda’s 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder, however with a little more juice (an additional 10 horsepower – now 166 horsepower/161 ft-lbs. of torque). Further changes include the exclusion of a manual version, and a standard 5-speed auto across the range.

No official news from Honda Australia. Information may be inaccurate for the Australian version of the car. Will keep you posted as information filters through Honda.

nice model!!
Im not a fan of the dash layout… with the gear stick integrated into it. I believe the Jazz has something similar… looks weird to me and the gap between it and the centreconsole looks like wasted storage space.
amazing,gorgeous……………….
No manual, no thanks!
Whats with the ugly grille? Overall its looks rank inside and out. But the engine seems pretty good (166bhp) that would be about 127kw from a 2.4ltr engine. Not sure what the fuel ADR figure is. According to drive, this version does handle very well.
any news about honda crv diesel and availability in australia.
Love it and the Luxury model is NICE!!
Chicks and cars they have such a broad range of requirements when looking for a car most of the time! “GEE I LIKE THE COLOUR ,CAN I PICK THE COLOUR OF THE INTERIOR” Come on girls pickup a mag and read something on what your buyin ,and for the chick earlier in the week that bought a Mazda 2 without driving it…………. why bother coming to this site you clearly have no requirements to meet in a car.
Hi Bavarian Missile,
I’m a chick and I have researched and researched and defintely driven the Honda CR-V for a test drive! Who would buy a car without driving it first?!?!?!
I’m constantly looking out for reviews on the Honda CR-V and the Holden Captiva LX as I don’t know which one to buy!
Margo ……Why havent you looked at the Mazda CX-7 ?
Have you read the review on drive.com on a comparo with few of them in that catagory?
I will put a link under this post for you to have a look at.
Not a fan of the CX-7… It looks okay but its not my sort of car, reminds me of a tarago or van! :)
I guess then its looks for you in the end! I would go Honda over the Captiva from that write up I just read.
Honda have been making CRVs for over 10 years now unlike Holdens Captiva.
I have ordered a crv luxury … went for a drive in a base model. it was fine for me, but my husband thought it holds back on power [but since i only drive at the speed limit, live in sydney, doubt the car will ever leave the sydney metro area - it will more than do for me, bubs and the dog!]. we tried V6 ford escape and power wasn’t much better than crv.
my friend bought a captiva – and i have to say i am pretty impressed. for the same amount I paid for my car, they got V6, 7 seats, dvd, every safety feature that the crv has, and more! I think the captiva bounces you around a little more than the crv, but if you are not particular paying attention to it, you don’t notice it. The husband is 6 ft and says he can’t get comfortable, and complains about lack of power but the wife loves it (and its her car].
Just about every reviewer complains about cr-v’s lack of power – i hope it is not as bad as they make out!
