Why Canada ‘of all places’? They have had mandatory DRL’s since 1990 – something worth strong consideration down here, particularly given the rise of low visibily colours like silver and black.

thats the same with ABS too! There are generational difference, some work better than others, etc etc,
yet it still has the same name

I think the idea should be that as long as the concept is the same, it should be called ESC to limit confusion.

Apart from the problem of what to call it, there is the bigger problem in that not all ESC systems are the same. There are various generations of technology out there – some work superbly, others are over-intrusive and others slow to react. There has to be a common standard before there is a common name.
