Subaru Impreza WRX Club Spec 9 Specifications

3 weeks ago I mentioned Subaru’s intentions to launch the Subaru Impreza Club Spec 9, and as of this week the all new unique WRX has gone up for sale and I have more details! There are a few things to note about the new Club Spec 9, to begin with, it seems like Subaru have given up calling it the Club Spec Evo 9, instead they simply called it the club spec 9. Perhaps that sort of “wanna be” Lancer Evolution image wasn’t working well for them?

Furthermore Subaru has dropped the Matt/Canary Yellow colour that set the Club Spec Evos apart in the past. Instead the 300 Club Spec 9s being sold in Australia will only be available in WRC Blue or Obsiden Black. Priced at $44,490 recommended retail price, the car comes with:

• 18″ Alloy Wheels (4) – Spare space saver
• Leather seats
• Sunroof
• Lowered Suspension (15mm lower than the standard WRX)
• Front Lip spoiler
• Short shift gear lever
• STI aluminium shift knob
• CS9 badging

Even though some of the traditional Club Spec features are no longer apparent, the best ones are, the leather trim and an electric sunroof fitted as standard are a good start! Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia said:
