Kleemann GTK Concept

This stunning Kleemann-developed SLK 55 AMG-derived concept dubbed the GTK makes the efforts of other tuners seem mediocre.

Where mainly tuners will add horsepower coupled with a more aggressive exterior, Kleemann have gone one step further to create an entirely new car from the Mercedes donor, keeping only the doors, roof and glasshouse from the production car.

The GTK is powered by the normally aspirated SLK 55 AMG V8 engine which features a Kleemann Kompressor kit delivering 403kW and 700Nm, switching through the seven-speed automatic transmission fast enough to propel the GTK to 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds from a standing start and onto an electronically limited top speed of 300km/h.

Presumably it would get you back to zero just as quick with a high performance Kleemann brake system featuring 380mm vented discs with eight-piston fixed aluminium calipers at the front and 345mm vented discs with four-piston fixed aluminium calipers in the rear.

According to the Danish tuner, the GTK is only a design study and it is unlikely ever to see production, however it will serve as inspiration for future Mercedes-Benz projects.
