HEMI V8 Jeep Wrangler Concept
October 29, 2007 by George Skentzos
Destined to take centre stage for Jeep at the SEMA Auto Show due to start in Las Vegas within the next 24 hours is the 6.4L HEMI V8 powered Wrangler Ultimate concept developed by Mopar.
Aside from the new engine, the car has been left largely untouched aside from a few chrome highlights added by Mopar to fit in with the SEMA crowd.
Ride height has been increased by 3 inches, allowing for the addition of rugged 35in BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires and 18in Alcoa Forged wheels.
The exterior look is completed by what Jeep describe as a ‘wildly experimental’ paint job, named ‘Liquid Charcoal Pearl Coat’ of which the full impact presumably isn’t delivered through photography.
Despite the tough exterior, the cabin has quite a luxurious feel to it with an orange mesh fabric and Nappa leather interior. Whilst the instrument cluster has been refined with a pearl and satin finish and a new hard-drive based entertainment system and DVD screens.

If they bring out a V8 in their SWB model, I’m sold!
This does nothing for me whatsoever.
Sounds like a corny attempt to get rid of unwanted engines to me.
who would of thought the fuel gauge was on empty
Even the 4.7 V8 would be adequate. Anything to replace the 3.8 “minivan” engine…
