your 180k holden would be worth 90k a year later, great buy! Or maybe 100k with a chev badge. Would it come with LPG? Because thats the only reason some people still buy holdens.

The Porsche Caymen is a small two door coupe, the VE HSV is a large comfortable (& safer) saloon. Yes, it's very nice that you bought yourself a Porsche, enjoy.

Do some research before you post bud. Handling wise, the VE is on par with the best from Germany. Edmunds inside line is just one source of information, look up Pontiac G8, the slalom times are amazing for a car based on a 30k platform.

Watch that top gear episode hun? Maloo faster than bmw m's, and the other one, r8 faster than 911 turbo (both in wet, surely a disadvantage to the heavier hsv?)

Hell of a lot cheaper, and faster... mmmm

Ok, so the R8 clubsport costs what? $80,000 and has a 4.96 0-100, the M3 costs $140,000 and has a 5.2 second 0-100 wow the R8 Clubsport must be amazing... oh wait, the BNR32 GT-R costs $20,000 and has a 4.7 second 0-100 and also happens to dominate in the corners.
I think its rather obvious that the BNR32 GT-R is the superior car here.

back in a day of 05 i owned 6.0L VZII Calais, all i had to do was a simple ECU tune and a pair of 255m rear rubbers , and i got it to do 4.72s 0-100km/h all 100% mechanically standard, from a standard L76 only ECU tuned, no extractors, no fancy air intakes or throttle bodies, just SOFTWARE and thicker tires at the rear. 4.72s fifty times in the row and i kept on getting the same times over and over again! from a STOCK CAR! worst of all it was a 4 speed auto, not manual.
