Saab 91 Concept

Check this out. It's the Saab 91 Concept designed by Fabio Ferrante. It was developed by an online community called, Saab 91 Petition and Support Group, which takes on the new trend of open-source designs submitted by external artists.

The Mini-sized hatch is also said to fall into Saab's new design themes, which bodes well for possible production.

Notice the almost helmet-visor-like wrap-around windscreen and flowing sunroof that leaks black glass down the hatch door.

Another notable design feature is the integrated headlight and grille fascia that is enveloped by the imposing front body panels. This gives off an aggressive look and isolates the huge front air intakes at the lower front corners.

Daytime running LEDs run along the headlights and emphasise the sharp and flowing side mirrors, taking on a new approach to the trend first adopted by Audi and its R8 Concept.

Lovely.
