Hey guys,
Quick question, I am getting married next year and would really really like to organise to have the new Nissan GT-R as the car we leave in. It is my fiance’s absolute favourite car!! Any suggections on how I would go about doing this?

I totally agree with Alborz on this one. Where on earth did the words ‘Bargain and $150g’get into the same sentence. And that is for the base model, it is reported that the Skyline GTR Evolution could be even more. Australia has a fantastic knack of telling the consumer market that ‘Import taxes and duty’ are a killer or that the size of the population limits the pricing. This is absolute tripe and dribble. Australian fair trades should step in and force the car industry to sell goods at a realistic price level for once and stop ripping off the buying public. With the dollar almost one for one with the US how is it possible that they can sell a car for AU$60k and we will have to pay 3 times as much???!!!!! Oh well I may be able to buy and drive the old skyline in about 15 years if I am lucky. Very sad..

i think Polyphony Digital should focus more on making the game real. hehehe

i doubt a car of this calibre will be alot cheaper in 2 or 3 years time. the only time they will be cheaper in 2 or 3 years time is when someone has trashed the crap out of it or crashed it.

Polyphony Digital.. the guys behind the Gran Turismo Series game, worked on the dash electronic screens… was it mentioned on the article?.. didnt read it.. but read enough about it.

It beat the 911 Turbo’s time at the ring….

Like I said, this car for the value is simply better than the 911…. heck even performance and potential… better than 911…

For everyday usage… BETTER than all supercars period.

Yes 80K in USD…. to go against the Corvette Z06… I mean stomp on the Z06… :-)

Sales wise maybe not.. the americans love their iconic muscles…

And for the low blow…. $78,000 AUD equivalent in Japan… so yes.. a second hand should sell for 50K AUD equivalent in Japan…. I’m MOVING there just for this… well ask work to transfer :-)

That thing is sex on wheels and yes that is a dam big gallery. Wonder what other options are available? I have a mate that works in Japan as a engineer for Nismo and he said that by the tests so far it will run a lambo in a 1/4 mile. that is street legal as well.

353KW stock standard. Just can’t wait to see what the tuning houses and enthusiasts can do with this. Brand new engine too – the RB26DETT and 28DETT were immortal, but this new VR38VETT is a technological leap forward over those.

And Alborz…it’s coming back to motorsport in a big way apparently!!!

Umm I could… it should be the ‘ultimate supercar for the SUPER RICH, anywhere, at anytime’. Nice car but disappointing it now has supercar status meaning those people who actually appreciate a car like this based on its heritage for the most part, wont ever get to experience it again.
