well my 5000 dollar 250cc does 0-100 around 5 sec and i may be corrected by average 1000cc bikes do it around 3-4 seconds:P but its dangerous as all hell lemme tell you that and btw check out http://www.netrider.com.au- great bike forum:P

Poor man sports car is spot on. I recently purchased an old CBR for 2 grand and can’t believe how much fun I’m having on it, and the power is breath taking. The secret I’ve found is to ride it like every car driver is out there to kill you (which really seems to be the case).
I may stand corrected but I think the best super bike sells for around 150k. And you can get something pretty close for a hell of a lot less. In car terms to get the same performance, you’ve got to fork out up to 10 times this amount.
