Anyone that didn’t get their MP3 plug in their Cobra take it back to your dealer and get it installed. Some cars missed out getting them,like ours!

Thats the weird bit Andrew see the 26th on this post by Paul,he sticks up for Ford…..so when he bagged them today I was gob smacked!

Just read the new Wheels with Cobra in it! Wheels are saying a 14.5 time out of the auto???????????right!Mind you the new Holden ute they haven’t tested cause their waiting for it too do 10,000 ks cause piston slapping Holden rev better!hehehe they ESTIMATE,yep ESTIMATE 13.5 from it!!…..how many cases of Scotch did Wheels get for that one from Holden!

Hey Cobra owners letting you know I am going to check with Chief Car Covers if they will make a Cobra styled cover for me! Unless they do allready ? Bought a yellow one for the XA last XMAS may get him one for the Cobra for this XMAS!!!
Took about 2-3 weeks to make I think! Will let you know how I go!

Geez Monkey you mates with Smokin R32 !!!!!He had the same argument about Wheels and Motor mag too…….mate there one eyed Holden supporters you haven’t realized that yet like the rest of us! Oh and of course they agree with each other their both owned by APC .

Now I have cut and pasted my reply to Smokin R32 even though he couldn’t support the fact that Holden has always been faster than Ford ,so I had to do his Home work for him

My reply as follows

Ok I will ,lets compare The BOSS 290 in the BA when it came out first compared to the GTS Monaro same year!

BAGT 0-100 from memory was 5.5 sec 5.4 litre
GTS Monaro from Wheels 5.8 sec 5.7 litre

1/4 mile times….

BAGT 14.1 depends who drove it ,stock we got 13.9
GTS Monaro 13.9 that was wheels driving it,remember Wheels always get stuff from Holden with Ks on it Ford theres is hardly run in with Wheels times most of the time!

XY GT PHASE 3 1/4 MILE TIME 14.7 sec
HT MONARO GTS 350 15.6 sec

Below my reply to Smokin R32 when he said Ford weren’t proud of the GT name……pffttttt

“So what makes you think Ford isn’t proud of the GT name,it is the EPITOME in names in Australian Muscle Cars ,has been for 40 years! ”

About that 300 kw GTS in 2000…..

Oh and Holden didn’t have a 300kw Commodore then HSV did straight from Callway! Mate at lest Ford owns the majority share of FPV…….Holden don’t seem to be able to do it by themselves without help from crate motors! You do have to ask your self then 7 years ago HSV got 300 kws from the GTS ,7 YEARS later the GTS still has 300 kws at a cost of $93.000 ,bargain! not! Geez us Ford Guys are a Bright Bunch!
