This car will outperform a Mercedes SLR and only 0.7 seconds slower than Ferrari Enzo in the circuit at TOP GEAR motor show. Check out BBC motor show “TopGear” season 11 Esp 5 end of part 2 on Youtube. Amazing machine I must say given the price is way cheaper than those super cars.

Regardless of how much of a GT-R diehard I am the only thing that will stop me from buying one is the price. Nissan, along other foreign manufacturers(Mazda, Honda) tend to treat Australian customers like cash cows. The thing the Nissan Australia should be aware of is the demise and a failure of three previous so called japanese supercars. Nissan R32 GT-R, honda NSX and Mazda RX-7. They both sold for a prety penny, and ultimately they all failed to attrract a sufficient number of buyers. Since this new GT-R is being sold for A$75,000 in Japan Nissan Australia cannot simply justify some crazy price, and a huge premium for the vehicle when it arrives to our shores.If this GT-R starts pushing mid 100K when it finally starts being imported it will ultimately fail. Why would anyone require a 300km/h car in Australia that costs a fortune, and that is a Nissan after all. The people that buy these 100K plus cars would always rather get a Porsche Cayman or Audi S4/RS4 or even some hot AMG Merc or BMW. Nissan, please surprise us GT-R fans by actually making it affordable and sub 100K.

gtr legend continues when nissan released the gtr in 1989 nothing could beat it.now a new one to be released and nothing will beat it.

It looks like a 350Z…with a gum guard!!!
Those are some pretty impressive figures. If accurate, it’ll be on par with the SLR and the new 911 Turbo.

WOW, Alot better than the old “cheapskate” R32, R33 GT-R. It’s a real good looking car now!! No way any young hoons would get their hands on this at this price.

if there $80k in usa the way are economy is going it should be under 120k. i also would like to see how this thing corners a car can go fast in a straight line but if it doesnt turn then its no good

well it has been benchmarked with the Porsche 911 Turbo… benchmark meaning, performance is either equal or exceeds it, well in short anyways… and how much are Porsche 911 Turbos? 220K+ there in Oz…

Nissan/Renault has gone crazy with this car… just crazy…

80K here in the U.S… sigh…. (I’m just here temp)

Nissan, if they ever release it there at Oz, will charge 150K+ for it..

BUT think… 3.5 sec 0-100, sub 11 sec quarter mile.

WOW!

Huge GTR fan here, but man.. might have to wait a few years then personally buy a second hand one from japan, would be around 40K AUD equivalent….

but need to live there for a year….
