U lot r quick, all this car has ever been in past models is a tarted up Land Cruiser,with abit extra toss factor to justify the price. On the basis of your theory “it devalues the Lexus brand”, does it also include HSV and FPV as tarted up Holden and Ford’s? Lexus is offering something abit different to these 2 as it offers technology to improve the drivers experience not just a $1ooo body kit that adds $15000 to the price.

Land Rover have dumped the Range Rover normally aspirated V8 from the RR line up. You know why? Because the 3.6L turbo diesel which the company now employs offers better driveability and infinitely better fuel economy. The only wealthy guys I know are as tight as a fish’s ….and love to save on fuel. So how come Lexus don’t offer a quiet diesel like Land Rover or VW (Touareg V6 TDI or even their V10 unit)

Remember new Land cruiser sahara is 100K+, I dont consider this one devalue Lexus in any way. Toyota has awesome trucks.

it looks like a tarted up new land cruiser, just with a different grill. I wonder how much of the actual chassis and suspension systems it shares with it.

As bigger seller as this probably is, its cars like this that keeps lexus from truly rivalling the prestige of BMWs and Mercs. This tarted up landcruiser reminds you this is just a toyota spinoff, devalues the brand as far as im concerned
