All of you micra nissan knockers get your facts right,have a drive in the new micra and i bet you that your opinion will vastly change you will be so embarrased in what you said . The micra is GOOD AND I MEAN GOOD. I have owned one for a reasonable time, and never get tired of driving it,the smooth feel of the engine,so much power. The smooth changing auto,everything of this car is unbelievable.So i say too you knockers have a test drive and then come back to this web page and apologise. Tis a bit ugly in appearance,so what we cant all be beauty queens.

Franz Chong, do a google image search on “Nissan Qazana Concept”. That’s what’s somehow going to turn into the next Micra. It’s going to be a weird tiny crossover thing and I doubt it will be quite as cheap as this one.

will be looking at next model of the Micra when it comes out.I am buying on a budget next time around.Currently driving a Tiida but given most of the driving I do is local and everything else I do is done by public transport I don’t see any problems downsizing

The Micra is a small car. Two big guys in the front and it gets a little uncomfortable but surprisingly there’s more rear seat room in this car than my Subaru. The Micra engine is not too shabby, it gets up to highway speeds just fine. The “city collection” special at $15990 drive away is unbeatable as you get safety (6 air bags) and some creature comforts (6 stacker CD) and auto for comparables that start in the $22000 plus range when looking at other makes.

I have just bought a 2008 Micra and I love it. I think it’s cute, funky, the fuel economy is fantastic. This car was designed for women in mind, so you blokes have no need to comment. Go back to your fuel guzzlers.

Im getting my new nissan micra tomorrow and I cant wait! I took it for a test drive 2 weeks ago and I loved driving it. It is a hot little car and is perfect for all the things I need. Having said that, I also didnt have 25 grand to spend on a car and couldnt look past the micras price tag. I thought most of the other cars like the Getz were ugly and simply had boring old shapes and who wants a Yaris-a dime a dozen with twenty-something million of them out on Sydney’s streets! We’ll soon see who knocks them when you have to ride around with your girlfriends in them! Go the micra!!!!

Finally down the end people with sense. Half of the people up the top a utter idiots. There only happy with v8′s and ferrais. Its the modern world and different is in. We cant keep being obsessed with these huge cars because there near extiction. The micra is a great little car and is far from a coffin for god sakes! My mum owns one and she loves it. The fuel consumption is amazing and it only costts liek $40 to fill up. The micra is a very stylish car. And please dont bag chinese cars for your own good because in 15 years we will all drive them because they will be so relibel and well built. And have any of you actually sat in a chinese car? no.

I just bought one for $14880 drive away as a second car. People must remember that not all drivers are motoring enthusiasts, nor do they want nor care about performance cars.
For the price, the car drives well, is very manoevourable and pleasant to drive.
Fuel consumption is good without being sensational. I replaced a Mitsubishi Mirage (owned from new) that in many ways was a better car but it had 175K on it and wasn’t going to last forever. Mirage is low and wide and handles well accordingly. Also had a better auto gear box. However, in the city, there are advantages to high seating position in Micra and the car is beautifully flickable at city speeds.
