2011 Ford Territory Spy Photos

When CarAdvice first broke exclusive photos of the 2011 Ford Territory testing, we mentioned that there were supplier delays relating the rear end assembly of the Territory.

Our spy photographer has come through with new photographs of the 2011 Ford Territory with the rear assembly in place, effectively confirming delays have now been rectified.

Also clear from these photographs is that the 2011 Ford Territory will use halogen projector lamps, with HID (High Intensity Discharge) Xenon headlights for top-spec variants (as speculated in the previous article).

Close-up photographs of the new rear end suggest changes will be fairly minimal, keeping the same rear dimensions as the current Territory. We're tipping LED tail lights and a slightly better tailgate system.

The interior will follow on from the FG Falcon, featuring a high mounted LCD screen for critical functions and a smaller LCD screen in the speedometer cluster.

The Ford Territory's current five-star ANCAP safety rating is tipped to remain when the new model is tested, making it a great option for families after a locally built SUV. Engine options will include petrol, turbocharged petrol and a new turbocharged diesel model.
