Top Gear U.K. to drive the Hulme supercar

The ever popular U.K. television series Top Gear is on the way to New Zealand to film a story on “The Making of the Hulme”, which should give viewers a unique insight into trials and tribulations of designing and building a modern supercar, capable of competing with the likes of Bugatti, Pagani, and even Koenigsegg.

The Top Gear team will also get involved in the development of the second Hulme prototype and will advise the test team on any changes, which they believe will assist the company in producing a world class supercar with the ultimate driving experience.

The Hulme supercar has attracted worldwide interest and while the company welcomes that enthusiasm, Jock Fremantle, Managing Director of Hulme Supercars is concerned that the project maybe bought out by overseas investors.

Jock is keen for the Hulme to remain a 100 percent New Zealand product and is calling for 700 kiwis to invest three thousand dollars each by June 30, in order to achieve this ambitious goal.

We wish him well as we too believe there is something special about his car that will see it does very well on the world stage.
