Mazda is set to join the growing band of car makers building pint-sized SUVs by producing a tiny SUV that could be called the CX-3.

The 2011 Mazda CX-9 will become considerably more affordable from the end of next month when Mazda Australia introduces a front-wheel drive variant of the seven-seater family SUV.
The new entry-level model in the range will be the Classic FWD, which will replace the current Mazda CX-9 Classic AWD.

I think considering the size and type of vehicle…only Mazda could of done a vehicle thats looks attractive…and not van like.

Is this it? It’s due for release in 8 weeks in Oz and it’s a left hand drive version on display,, and its the lower spec one at that.
(unless the pic was reversed, and the higher spec was there too) lol

I reckon this is probably the best looking SUV in the australian market. Looks significantly better than the Kluger, and it would definitely drive a lot better as well. Where there any official specification releases?
