I have a 307 hdi tiptronic and it is great. Now has 24000 on the clock and last weekend got 5.2 lts. /100 km. on a trip to Dubbo from Sydney. When New the best I could get was 5.7 lt / 100 km but it is still improving. At first service I put in 0W/40 Mobil 1 Oil which I had used for 17 years in my VW I had previously, I believe that the oil is the secret.
The car is a delight to drive and I look forward to many years of saving fuel.

I am ready to replace my Honda CRV with a not too large wagon. I have looked at the Peugeot 407 Touring, Audi Sportback and Volvo V50. Do you have an opinion on the best choice? During the week I drive into the Melbourne CBD and on weekends drive around 2 children. Thanks. Vanessa.
