Don’t worry Freaky those pangs will subside eventually. Believe me u will still have a soft spot for the General.

Most important thing is u can still differentiate between a nice looking car and a frig. Ha Ha.

Seen the Mondeo at the Sydney Show and it certainly is a beautiful looking vehicle.Congrats.

I am a tragic Holden fan and have had Kingswoods and Commodores in my family and as my own my entire life. I reckon Ford stands for Found On Rubbish Dumps : )

3 weeks ago I took a test drive of the new Mondeo Turbo Diesel to see what all the fuss is about. The next day I traded my Commodore in and bought one for the missus. I still feel dirty swapping a Holden for a Ford but it really is that good and sadly head and shoulders (IMO) above the current Aussie large car offerings and Toyota white goods on wheels.

Hopefully Holden will make something good enough for me to head back to the Lion for my next purchase.

So I just read Gorman is expecting to sell around 500-550 per month of the Mondeo, without impinging on Falcon volume.

Lets hope it doesn’t

I guess it is still front wheel drive and those that prefer RWD will stick with it!

Your right about the scrutineers……HRT AND TOOL have got them on the ball! Lookout they have done this before ,they become pathetic as its the only way they can find a solution to slow the Fords down! HRT GARAGE SAYS” Oh look he had his foot over the line from the garage, there only meant to have ra ra ra amount of people in pit lane when a car is in” pffftt your pathetic HRT !

Lets hope Ford have got the eyes on Holden too !

Dunno what to think about timing. How could FPR stuff that up -or- if it were deliberate, penalty fits -or- scrutineers are desperately looking for a way to give TOOL a leg up. *shrug*

;-) Skaife does has good timing.

See thats what I am talking about,stupid bloody water hoses!
Try explaining to a GM dealer in parts what water hose you want,hes looking on his fish {not sure if thats how you spell it} with bewilderment in his eyes? Let alone having to replace them all!!!!!!!! Oh F it Ill bring the bloody thing up and you can match it up for me!!!That was normally the answer,piece of crap it was!

Ignition timing……..What The ? They check the timing ????????WOW ! I thought it was a parts thing only!

Nothing wrong with Skafies timing…….bang .Spot on cleaned up Crash .Well done!

That’s funny, because an impossible to get at waterhose, up under the intake manifold, which blew is the reason it blew up the second time.

Winterbottom’s qualifying time has been excluded for an “ignition timing discrepancy”.

Yep I am not fond of them either….I put angle eyes in the M3 the only after market thing I have added….they look cool but like most after market parts temperamental!

It was my XMAS present a few years ago,got them from the U.K.

Last year I had all the rims fixed a repainted cause I hate marks in them! Thats about all I have had to touch on the M3

Have some pics somewhere of it will try digging them up too!

It has aftermarket taillights and headlights now. Don’t like the original headlights unless in XR form.
